it's up!

Everything is up and running! And I couldn't be more excited! I know a few friends have already been checking out the site and positive feedback so far. Yay!

My tasks for this week are to work on setting up emails and my pay-pal account, in the hopes that someone someday may want to buy a print or two. Not to mention I will be working on getting more pictures up, more albums, and working on blogging current projects as they come my way.

That's another thing, projects coming my way. Not sure what that means yet. Because I'm not really sure what I'm going to be doing. But as this snow is melting I'm only eagerly anticipating more adventures of a photographic nature. And! The potential for an upcoming European excursion is in the works. So that's exciting.

Until then, if you or anyone you know have photographic needs or ideas or comments or feedback, shoot me an email kati@katireich.com or you could comment here too I suppose.

Happy monday everyone!

almost there...

And I guess this is the waiting game.

I'm currently waiting for my website to actually be up and running. Let me tell you, I'm chomping at the bit cause I'm seriously excited to see it up and running. And like I said, it still needs work, I really don't have that many photos up and I'm learning how to do the whole website thing...but I'm doing it!

So.....I wait.

And wait...

firsts....

So here it goes. Getting my website up, my blog going...and then, well, we will just have to see what happens. I'm excited to see where this new adventure takes me. Putting myself out there and (hopefully) keeping myself accountable to what I desire to do. Which is: snap some photos, and maybe make a living out of it. But here is to the first step, one of faith.

I know that taking pictures is something that makes me feel more alive than just about anything else. It just took me until I was 24 to start taking it seriously. I have to give credit in part, to that new hubby of mine, Al. He is my biggest encourager and I am more than thankful for him. In so many ways of course. He's my biggest fan when it comes to photography, I've been blessed to say the least. Now, to do something about it. To learn, to explore, and most importantly to click that camera.

In closing my first blog entry, check out my website! Its still not quite finished yet....but hey, neither am I. And check back now and again, because things are just getting started.
